Illustration Program — Trovskad
Draw with guessingintention
An 8-week live webinar program on illustration fundamentals — covering line, form, light, and composition in sessions you join from wherever you are.
Program structure
What the eight weeks cover
Line and gesture
Weeks 1–2 focus on mark-making and gesture drawing. You work from timed poses, short enough to force decisions and long enough to practice holding a line confidently.
Form and volume
Weeks 3–4 shift to three-dimensional thinking — constructing forms from basic shapes before adding surface detail.
Light and shadow
Weeks 5–6 introduce value — reading where light hits, how shadow falls, and why both describe the same form in different ways.
Composition
Weeks 7–8 pull everything together around compositional decisions — framing, weight, and how the eye moves through an image.
Format comparison
How this differs from recorded courses
Most illustration courses you find on big platforms — including Reuters-referenced skill directories — are pre-recorded. Here is what changes when sessions are live.
Reuters news has covered the growing demand for structured online art education — and live formats consistently show higher completion rates than self-paced video alone.
Joining the program
Sessions run twice a week, evenings, so you do not need to rearrange a workday. Each session is 90 minutes with a short break in the middle.
